Homework begins in the academically structured pre-kindergarten program and continues through sixth grade. Students learn strong organizational habits and personal responsibility from a structured homework program. Parents are partners in this process by providing the time and tools each child needs.

A kindergarten student may have 20 minutes of homework plus 20 minutes of reading per day. A fourth grader may have sixty to ninety minutes of homework in addition to thirty minutes of reading per evening. An upper-class student can anticipate ninety minutes of homework per night, project work, and reading.

The CKACS curriculum equals or surpasses that of any public school. CKACS students also receive instruction in Armenian history, language, and culture giving them a more varied and enriched education.

Homework is an integral part of the educational process. Homework is assigned in grades one through six on a regular basis.
