On Sunday, September 20, 2009 the children of Charlie Keyan Armenian School were delighted to be selected as guests at a benefit for orphaned Armenian children. The students opened the benefit held at AJ's Armenian Cuisine with Hayr Mer (Our Father-"Lords Prayer").  They also sang the National Anthem of Armenia. To the audience's delight Actor and special guest Mr. Ken Davitian sang along with them.   Actor Davitian was impressed with our kids as well as with our Principal Sofie's speech on how educations lifts a society out of poverty. A staunch supporter of children's groups and rights, Ken Davitian is especially impressed with the education available at Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School. Mr. Davitian is the actor of such TV and Films as Borat, Soul Men, Get Smart, Ghost Whisper, and Chuck.  In 2010, he has two new films being released Pranksters and You May Not Kiss The Bride.
